DIANA FLORES JOINS FOX DEPORTES AS GUEST GAME ANALYST FOR USFL SOUTH DIVISION CHAMPIONSHIP GAME ON JUNE 25

Mexican Flag Football World Champion and NFL Global Flag Football Ambassador Debuts as a Guest Game Analyst

FOX Deportes today announces Mexican Flag Football World Champion and NFL Global Flag Football Ambassador Diana Flores will serve as game analyst for the network’s coverage of the USFL South Division Championship Game between the New Orleans Breakers y the Birmingham Stallions on Sunday, June 25, at 7:00 PM ET.

Flores makes her debut as an in-game guest analyst alongside play-by-play announcer Jaime Motta and analyst Jorge Carlos Mercader. Game day coverage kicks off with an edition of TOTAL SPORTS ESPECIAL at 6:30 PM ET.

“We are extremely excited to feature Diana Flores on our broadcast of the USFL South Division Final on June 25,” said Carlos Sanchez, Executive Vice President and General Manager of FOX Deportes. “Diana is a true trailblazer and continues to make headlines on-and-off the field.  We are proud that she will be making her debut as a guest on-air analyst on FOX Deportes and look forward to hearing her unique insight during the game.”

“I couldn’t be more excited to be making my first appearance as a guest game analyst on FOX Deportes during the USFL South Division Championship Game!” said Flores.

Flores first appeared as quarterback for the Mexican Flag Football Team when she was only 16 and recently won the gold medal at the 2022 Flag Football World Cup.  She was also named the tournament’s Most Valuable Player.

Flores rose to fame during Super Bowl LVII when she starred in “Run With It,” the blockbuster NFL campaign that also featured Billie Jean King and FOX Sports reporter Erin Andrews. Recently winning a Sports Emmy Award, the commercial marked the first time the league spotlighted Flag football and the women driving the sport forward on its biggest platform of the year.

The jersey worn by Flores and her football in the commercial, signed by Billie Jean King and New York Jets cornerback Sauce Gardner, were recently included in the Pro Football Hall of Fame as part of a “Run With It” exhibit.  The inclusion marks the first time that a flag football player has had objects in the Pro Football Hall of Fame.

The week prior to the Super Bowl, Flores also served as the offensive coordinator for the AFC at the NFL Pro Bowl under the tutelage of AFC Head Coach Peyton Manning.

The Spanish-language broadcast home of the USFL, FOX Deportes’ coverage continues this week with the New Orleans Breakers vs. the Houston Gamblers Sunday, June 18 at 4:00 PM ET.

All USFL games on FOX Deportes are also available on the FOX Sports App.
