Looking to develop a connection between Intuit Quickbooks and FOX Sports newly acquired Thursday Night Football programming for the 2018 season. The campaign required that the integrations reach our highly engaged NFL on FOX audience and tell real stories of how Quickbooks backs small businesses.
Using the Seattle Seahawks and Tennessee Titans home games as entry points, FOX Sports and Intuit developed two custom vignettes highlighting a local business tied to each of those NFL Markets. By going on location to tell the stories of Uli’s Famous Sausages in Seattle, and Gruhn Guitars in Nashville, Intuit built equity with the FOX NFL audience by connecting over the real stories of small business owners. To further connect Intuit Quickbooks stories to the FOX NFL audience, FOX NFL talent Charissa Thompson narrated the vignettes.
The stories of Uli’s Famous Sausages and Gruhn Guitars were naturally tied into the Thursday Night Football broadcast with a seamless toss from FOX NFL talent to the custom vignettes. To extend the campaign to social platforms, FOX Sports, Charissa Thompson, and Intuit pushed the content out on their respective platforms to deliver maximum exposure for the brand and these unique stories.
