In year three of this partnership, FOX and GMC teamed up once again to give fans a deeper look into the lives of NFL legends using GMC trucks as a vehicle for their storytelling.

These season-long editorial content pieces that aired in the GMC Thursday Night Kickoff show put players in the driver’s seat, allowing them to show viewers “Around Town.” Integrated with beauty shots of priority features of a GMC vehicle and scenes of the city that was playing host to that evening’s matchup, former pros, from Joe Thomas in Cleveland to Brian Westbrook in Philadelphia, told the unique stories of their playing careers, lifelong connections to the cities they played in and how they continue to give back to those special communities.

As the presenting sponsor of the Thursday Night Football Kickoff Show, GMC + FOX looked to amplify the all-new Hummer EV’s brand ethos of electricity and power while driving awareness for fans to tune into TNF each week.

Greg Olsen took fans onto the field and into the broadcast booth to showcase the all new Hummer EV front and center. Fans saw the “calm before the storm” while Olsen walked through the stadium in preparation for Sunday’s game. Taking a cue from Hummer’s in-market creative, the power and electricity of the Hummer EV was portrayed as the driving force behind the energy of TNF while promoting tune-in to each Thursday’s matchup.
