Epic Clash of European Titans Pits England vs. Spain in Thrilling Conclusion to the World’s Greatest Sporting Event from the Land Down Under
SYDNEY, AUSTRALIA – History awaits this Sunday, Aug. 20, on FOX when the FIFA Women’s World Cup 2023™ culminates with a first-time winner being crowned in the monumental Final match between reigning European champion England and La Furia Roja in Spain.
Today, David Neal, Executive Producer of FIFA World Cup™ on FOX and Vice President of Production for FOX Sports, America’s English-language home for the tournament, announces United States Women’s National Team (USWNT) FIFA Women’s World Cup™ veteran Aly Wagner and play-by-play announcer JP Dellacamera will call the epic showdown between England and Spain.
Live coverage on FOX starts at 5:00 AM ET with FIFA WOMEN’S WORLD CUP LIVE leading right up to kick off at 6:00 AM ET. FIFA WOMEN’S WORLD CUP LIVE features an unrivaled team of soccer analysts and experts led by two-time FIFA Women’s Player of the Year and USWNT legend Carli Lloyd, National Soccer Hall of Famer and United States Men’s National Team (USMNT) FIFA World Cup™ veteran Alexi Lalas, two-time FIFA Women’s World Cup™ champion with Germany Ariane Hingst, former Australian striker and FIFA Women’s World Cup veteran Kate Gill and USMNT FIFA World Cup™ veteran Stu Holden, alongside lead host Rob Stone.
